Social Policy in Asia in Times of Multiple Disruptions
17–18 July 2026 | The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (In-person)
The East Asian Social Policy (EASP) Research Network is pleased to announce its 2026 Annual Conference, hosted by the Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, with the Department of Applied Social Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as co-organising partner.
This conference invites scholars to examine how social policy in Asia is being reshaped in an era of multiple and intersecting disruptions, including public health crises, climate change, digitalisation and AI, demographic transformation, and geopolitical uncertainty. We welcome theoretical, comparative, and empirical contributions, with particular encouragement for research engaging East and Southeast Asian contexts.
